The Guide to Caring for Coloured Diamonds

Fancy coloured diamonds, like regular diamonds, can be cleaned with a lint-free cloth after soaking it in a gentle soapy solution.

A few commercial cleaning solutions or household gentle washes can also be used. However, we recommend staying clear of harsher chemicals such as abrasive household cleaners.

Though diamonds are known to withstand high temperatures, any sudden and extreme change in temperatures can cause a thermal shock and can create fractures.

Cleavages, or spots where the atomic bond is at the lowest, are the most vulnerable.

Also, constant exposure to oil and other dirt can cause your favourite coloured diamond to lose its shine and sparkle. So regular cleaning is a must.
